Alex Wynn feat. Alisha Pillay - Love You Out Loud

Inspirat printre alţii de Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Alesso, LaidbackLuke, Calvin Harris şi Steve Aoki, Alex Wynn (votat unul dintre cei mai buni 5 dj din Vancouver în 2011), este unul dintre cei mai promiţători producători din British Columbia (provincia vestică a Canadei). După numeroase release-uri digitale, remix-uri şi seturi pentru petreceri, Alex a decis să facă echipa cu Alisha Pillay (una din cele mai bune artiste independente din Canada) pentru a lansa primul său single oficial.

Povestea lui Alex e cel puţin interesantă. El este la origine român, plecând în Canada după ce a absolvit şcoala generală în Romania. Pasionat de mic de muzica şi dj-ing a reuşit o performanţă uimitoare: să fie dj rezident într-unul din cele mai mari cluburi din Canada (Mirage din Vancouver), şi de asemenea, să fie invitat la foarte multe alte petreceri în alte locaţii importante de peste Ocean. Toate acestea au fost posibile datorită unei ambiţii uriaşe şi al unui volum de muncă impresionant.

Alisha Pillay este o căntăreaţă şi compozitoare din Vancouver. La vârsta de 7 ani, Alisha a început să ia lecţii de dans, pian şi canto şi a început să îşi scrie propriile piese la uimitoarea vârsta de 10 ani. Până acum, Alisha a câstigat concursul lui David Foster "Oportunity of a Lifetime Contest", concursul Shaw Star Discovery, competiţia Pittbul Promotions "Radio Active" şi programul "Bell Emerging Artist". De asemenea ei i-a fost oferită o bursă la binecunoscutul colegiu de muzică Berklee şi a figurat în Billboard Canada ca unul din cei mai promiţători artişti din noul val după ce şi-a lansat primul ei single, "Convicted". Alisha a fost de asemenea norocoasa să cânte alături de David Foster, Josh Groban, Renee Olstead şi Sarah McLachlan. Compozitoare foarte versatilă, jonglând cu lejeritate între R&B, Pop şi Hip-Hop, Alisha a lucrat cu Alisha "M'Jestie" Brooks (care deţine credite pentru piesa Rihannei - Pon de Replay), James Fauntleroy (care a lucrat pentru Chris Brown, Jordin Sparks, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake), Jarvis Church de la Philosopher Kings (Nelly Furtado), Jenson Vaughan (Madonna, Timbaland, Snoop Dogg) şi acum... Alex Wynn.

Love You Out Loud, a fost produsă de Alex Wynn fiind înregistrată în Canada, iar mixingul şi masteringul au fost realizate în Romania la Super Sound Studio de către Ryloh, artwork-ul poartă semnătura lui Cătălin Cristea (Massy). Având în vedere background-ul impresionant al celor doi artişti, piesa lui Alex Wynn va fi cu siguranţă o surpriză plăcută pentru publicul din Romania. Totodată ea reprezintă şi începutul unei colaborări de lunga durată a lui Alex cu label-ul independent Voices Media.

Nici o zi fara Chris Brown, iar astazi avem videoclipul pentru unul dintre single-urile sale, Sweet Love. De data aceasta nu e un super dance track, ci mai degraba un sex track, cu paturi, ploaie si asternuturi albe. 

Videoclipul a fost filmat spre sfarsitul lunii aprilie, iar cand am vazut poze de la filmari am zis ca stim la ce sa ne asteptam, dar Chris Brown a reusit sa ne ia prin surprindere. Dupa cateva ascultari piesa Sweet Love a inceput sa ma prinda si cred ca il prefer pe Chris Brown in varianta asta decat in cea de dance star.

Vedeti mai jos clipul, sigur va da un mood

Cruising onto our music listening devices just in time for summer is ‘Right by My Side,’ a new Nicki Minaj single featuring Chris Brown. This song — showing Nicki as a laid back and vulnerable leading lady – appears on Minaj’s ‘Pink Friday: Roman Reloaded,’ which drops on April 3. It is a lean back tune that should have you reclining in your low rider and pondering love.

 

‘Right by My Side’ is a pop jam, with Minaj reserving the rap for the end. The song is PG-13 up until that point. But we’ll get there in a moment.

Before hand, the rapper muses and laments “I miss your morning kiss” and “I just hope your heart hears me now.”She lays her emotional cards face up on the table, saying “Pay attention / I’m pouring out my heart / Oh boy” and “I’m not living right / If you’re not by my side.” Her guard is effectively dropped and she coos in a sweet voice we don’t hear as often as we’d like.

Breezy takes the second verse, delivering his words in slighty auto-tuned, dreamy style. While he gets plenty of negative press about his temper, Brown plays a believable romantic foil to Minaj in this song. He sets himself up effectively as a leading man.

Minaj gets raunchy, dropping “p—-y” and “d—” references and mentioning designer Marc Jacobs in the space of a single sentence. Leave it to Nicki to get dirty before the last synthy note fades.

Overall, it’s a sexy, mid-tempo romp.

The 22-year-old singer makes his directorial debut in the electrifying video which was co-directed with Godfrey Tabarez.

“Music is FREEDOM! The video is out!!!!,” Chris wrote on his Twitter account. “Love you team breezy!!! #turnupthemusic.”

“Turn Up the Music” is the lead single off his fifth studio album, Fortune, which is due out March 16 – the track is available on iTunes now.

With the release of Chris Brown‘s ‘Fortune’ fast approaching, the singer has unwrapped the set’s second single ‘Turn Up The Music’.

Brown made the impromtu announcement on Twitter moments ago, telling fans:

“New FORTUNE single coming 1/26!!!”Chris tweeted. “”TURN UP THE MUSIC”!!!!”

Ding, ding, ding!

A delicious slice of Electro-Pop, with a generous helping of Urban, the track is a winner on many a front. From its seamless fusing of the genres, to its whimsical “knock”, the cut is a certified club banger.

Yet, beyond this, the song is also the first Brown release in some time to see the star really showcase them vocals. Indeed, his adlibs, belts, and harmonies pierce through the studio bells and whistles, reminding the masses that Chris can be a great vocalist – when he wants to be.
